Sherwood Forest Netball Club

Sherwood Forest Netball Club began as a Newark and Sherwood District Council Back 2 Netball session in November 2013, attracting over 50 different ladies in the first couple of weeks we knew we need Netball in the area.

To keep the netball sessions running we needed to form a club so in 2014 Sherwood Forest Netball Club was born. It's still a group of ladies all getting into netball, many haven't played for years and some are discovering it for the first time!

After much to-ing and fro-ing we are now based in the Sports Hall at Wellow House School, near Mansfield, on Wednesday evenings. At the moment we are running Back 2 Netball sessions but we hope to start developing junior sessions in the near future!

We currently have an experienced Level 2 Netball coach leading our sessions and two more ladies have qualified as Level 1 Netball coaches with the hope of continuing their development to become Level 2's.
